Many of you had interesting answers to another question we asked: What do you think about when justifying whether a different package structure makes sense for the product you are working on?
“ Will the ROI gain offset the use of cheaper materials? Will the use of cheaper materials create the need to change the look of the product itself, to complement the new material used in the packaging? ”
“ Will consumers be able to find the product if it is in a new package? If we are trying to sell at a higher price, we'll need a new package to support the price. ”
“ Does it fit our manufacturing process? ”
“ Packaging must suit the product. We must not necessarily follow the packaging in the market. A different package would attract customers ’ attention. ”
