In South Korea supermarkets, Daesang, a food marketer, has re- launched its Daesang-brand luncheon meat and pork products in rectangular two-piece aluminum cans closed with an Easy Peel® end, designed by Impress.

The cans are made in France using aluminum foil with a gold internal coating to ease the product ’ s removal from the container. For the closure—the peelable end piece—aluminum is bonded to a polypropylene sub-layer that is specifically designed to withstand the heat processing of the product.
